EZ Baccarat: no commission, with Dragon 7 and Panda 8

EZ Baccarat removes the 5% Banker commission. Instead, a Banker win with a three-card 7 is a push. Side bets: Dragon 7 pays 40 to 1 on that exact hand, and Panda 8 pays 25 to 1 when Player wins with a three-card 8.

How the push works

When Banker wins with a total of 7 made from three cards, Banker bets are returned with no win. Every other Banker win pays even money.

That single push costs Banker bettors about the same as the 5% commission, but play moves faster.

The side bets

Dragon 7 wins only on a Banker three-card 7. It pays 40 to 1 and hits about once in 44 hands. Panda 8 wins only on a Player three-card 8, paying 25 to 1 and hitting about once in 29 hands.

Both are separate from the main bet and can be placed alone at most tables.

01Basics

What is EZ Baccarat?

A no-commission version of baccarat where a Banker win with a three-card 7 is a push instead of a win.

Is EZ Baccarat better than regular baccarat?

Almost the same. Banker edge is about 1.02% compared with 1.06% in commission games.

About once every 44 hands on average. House rules can vary, so check the table placard or ask the dealer.
